Compared with traditional energy-saving lamps and LED light, which is better?

A: LED lights are better.

The main reasons are as follows:

1. Energy saving

The energy consumption of LED is 25% of that of energy-saving lamps, because ordinary energy-saving lamps still consume a part of the electric energy into heat energy, while LED lamps do not have this problem.

2. Longer life

The lifespan of LED lamps is longer, and the service life of qualified LED bulbs can reach 10,000 to 20,000 hours, while the same energy-saving lamps have a service life of between 6,000 and 10,000 hours. In addition, if the energy-saving lamps are switched on and off frequently, the service life will be greatly reduced.

3. Green environmental protection

Mercury is one of the essential luminescent materials for energy-saving lamps. With the increase of use time, there will be gaps in the sealing of energy-saving lamps, and the mercury in them will volatilize into the air, causing pollution to the air. LED lights do not have this problem at all, and they are safe and environmentally friendly to use. LED lights are far superior to energy-saving light bulbs in terms of shock and lightning protection. Continuous switching caused by voltage instability has far less impact on LED lamps than energy-saving lamps.

However, one of the major reasons that hinder the promotion of LED lamps at present is that the price is too expensive. For ordinary users, the performance of service life, energy saving and environmental protection cannot be observed intuitively after all, and only the price can be intuitively felt. However, considering the advantages of the above LED lights, the cost of installation is acceptable. After all, the service life is so long, and it is stable and not easy to break. In the long run, it is definitely more cost-effective than buying energy-saving lamps.
