How to Install an 8m Long and 4m High Theater Background Screen Using Truss as an LED Stack Frame

Today, we will walk through the process of assembling an 8-meter-long and 4-meter-high LED screen, which will serve as a theater background. This screen is composed of thousands of LED modules, so the first step is to ensure that all components are functioning correctly. Once this is confirmed, we will load the materials onto a truck and proceed to the assembly site.

Step 1: Unloading and Preparing Materials

Upon arrival at the site, we begin by unloading all the materials we have brought. The structural integrity of the support panels is crucial, so we start by laying out the base plates. These base plates are 1.2 meters long, 30 centimeters wide, and 8 millimeters thick.

Step 2: Installing the Truss

The next step involves installing the 4-meter-high truss onto the base plates. Once the truss is securely in place, we attach diagonal braces to the rear of the structure. These braces are fixed to the ends of the base plates to provide additional stability.

Step 3: Setting Up the Front Support

In front of the truss, we place 30x30mm square iron tubes that are 8 meters in length. It is essential to ensure that these tubes are level with the theater floor to facilitate a smooth installation. Adjustments may be necessary to achieve the perfect alignment.

Step 4: Mounting the LED Panels

The first row of the LED screen must be installed with extreme precision, as it will support three additional panels to reach the full height of 4 meters. We use panels that are 1 meter high and 50 centimeters wide to expedite the installation process. The team working on the first row will then proceed to install the second row.

Step 5: Securing the Panels

At every meter of height, we use back clamps to tightly secure the LED panels to the truss columns. Above these clamps, we install a 4-meter-long aluminum alloy single tube to connect the individual truss columns. This tube adds significant stability to the overall structure.

Step 6: Ensuring Safety and Stability

Safety is paramount in these assemblies, especially since actors will be performing in front of the screen. We ensure that all modules are interconnected without any gaps between the panels. This not only enhances safety but also provides a uniform appearance when content is projected.

Step 7: Repeating the Process

We repeat the installation process until the screen reaches the desired dimensions. Once the structure is fully assembled, we conduct a thorough inspection to ensure everything is secure and correctly installed.

Step 8: Wiring the Screen

Finally, we proceed to wire the screen. Signal and power cables are connected to all the interconnected panels to enable communication between them. This step is crucial for the seamless operation of the LED screen.

By following these steps meticulously, we can successfully install an 8-meter-long and 4-meter-high theater background screen using truss as an LED stack frame. This setup not only ensures a stunning visual display but also guarantees the safety and stability required for live performances.
