- Event Introduction:  

Spartan Race is a series of obstacle course races founded by Joe De Sena in 2010. The concept was initially established in 2007 by Joe De Sena and others through the creation of peak.com and "Peak Race." The first Spartan Race was held in Vermont, USA, in 2010. The event was introduced to China in 2016. In 2023, the Beijing Children's Race set a Guinness World Record for the "largest children's obstacle course championship." In 2024, multiple Spartan Race events were held in various Chinese cities.


- Event Creed:  

The creed of Spartan Race includes pushing physical and mental limits, controlling emotions, continuous learning, generosity, leading by example, adhering to principles at all costs, self-awareness, action over words, and living each day as if it were the last.


- Event Progression Rules:  

Spartan Race includes regular races, regional series, continental championships, and the World Championship. Regular races are held in various countries, with the top five competitors in the elite category receiving awards. The regional series selects three-color events from regular races, with the top 20 advancing to the continental championship. The continental championship is the only pathway to the World Championship, where the top 50 competitors from each regional championship can advance.


- 2024 Event Details:  

In 2024, Spartan Race held 11 adult and children's events in seven Chinese cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Hangzhou. The first children's race was held in Shenzhen on March 16-17, featuring a Marvel Avengers-themed event. The first adult race took place in Shenzhen on March 23-24. The Shanghai event concluded in April with a Marvel Avengers theme. The Changchun event was announced on July 16. The Chongli event featured a double-weekend race on August 20. The Haikou event was held on October 2-3, and the Beijing event concluded on October 20.
